Right in front of the train station,
the expressway is being inspected even at

midnight. Checkers are seeing the skyway in the beam of flashlights, as if they're in mischief.

Tell them, "You don't have to work hard. It's midnight."
Oh, same to me.

駅の目の前には高速道路があって、
真夜中だというのに、なにか点検をしている。
懐中電灯で覗き込む姿は、まるでいたずらをしている
ように見える。

人の事は言えないがそんなに真夜中まで
頑張らなくても、と思った。
